Portraits of Officers and Men on Active Service. The commissioning of a 2014 centenary edition of the Ross-shire Roll of Honour initially arose from an idea discussed within The Seaforth Highlanders Regimental Association.( Ross-shire Branch). Various organisations were contacted and confirmed their support and kindly donated towards the costs involved. With their assistance, this edition of the book is now dedicated not just to those named, but to all those from Ross-shire who answered their country’s call during the 1914-18 war.
